Chrono Resurrection: A Nostalgistic Sigh
Pretty much everyone here has heard of the the Chrono Resurrection project, which was a very well done 3D remake of Chrono Tigger done by fans. It was canned years back due to a cease and desist from Square. Chrono Resurrection is a huge source of inspiration for me, it really goes to say what a few dedicated, talented, fans can pull off. Anyways, if you do not know much about Chrono Resurrection, I suggest you go here.
As for why I’m posting this, one of the people who used to be on the team, has released a new video just showing some more features, like the menu they made and so on. I hope that they will at-least release more unseen videos showcasing other parts of the game we have not seen. Especially since last I heard, even though they got a cease and desist letter, they did finish up the game somewhat for their own personal satisfaction. Though do not get all hyped up thinking it’s making a comeback, it’s just a video. An interesting one though, none the less. Really makes you wonder how it could have been if Square wouldn’t have shut them down.
