In hunt of the elusive Nintendo DS Lite
Recently I have been in search for a polar white Nintendo DS Lite. I bought a black onyx DS Lite the day it came out, and had no problems getting one (yet I also worked at a game store). Awhile ago, I sold my DS due to the fact that I needed cash and didn’t play it very much. Yet, recently I have learned of two very nice games that has made me re-kindle my love for the DS (Not to mention there are a few games out that I want). Basically, what I have found is that there a few Kanji training games for the DS, which makes perfect sense, because you can write them out on the screen and what not.
The two games I am wanting are “Kanji Sono Mama Rakubiki Jiten 「漢字そのまま楽引辞典」” and “Kageyama Method: Tadashii Kanji Kakitori-Kun - Konda wa Kanken Taidaku Dayo! 「正しい漢字
正しい漢字かきとりくん is a Kanji training game, which is the most basic one they have for the DS so far, geared towards kids and people like me who only know 50 Kanji, meh. It seems to be very good as it has all of the official Jouyou Kanji: 1,945 (Which is an update from the original game). This is a very nice way to train yourself with Kanji and I am glad I found these two games. Anyways, so I am regretting selling my original DS Lite now as I can’t find a stupid DS Lite anywhere! Out of stock in every store in my city I live in, and my home town (except 1 pink DS Lite I found, those always seem to be laying around). It’s proving to be pretty difficult to find one, especially a polar white one, since I didn’t like how the black always had finger prints all over it. I knew that they were pretty much the highest selling system, yet I did not think they would still be sold out, It’s February now! Anyways, I am on the hunt for one, since I don’t feel like paying for an overpriced one online. Hopefully I will make a post eventually stating I have one, until then, I will be doing a lot of calling…
