Persona -Trinity Soul- Episode - 2 「ペルソナトリニティ・ソウル：エピソード２」

Shadow Extraction 「影抜き」

The second episode starts to really pick up with the storyline. Shin’s Persona has awakened, and after the short battle with the killer from the last episode, a car pulls up, and he is chased by yet another Persona user. Shin is cornered by the Persona user and his Persona comes out of him yet again, deflecting the attacks of the Persona user. Shin is then made to retreat by his Persona, and ends coming back home not exactly sure of what just happened. School starts the next day, Shin and Jun both head to their schools for the first day.

Ryo is seen at a hospital visiting some patients suffering from the “Apathy Syndrome”, a common theme in Persona 3. Some talk is made of events that happened 10 years ago, during Persona 3’s time line (which gets very interesting). Ryo then sees a small girl with red hair, or think he does. Not exactly sure who that is. (Mitsuru/child/relative?)

At school Shin runs into the familiar face of Megumi Kayano, who was seen arguing with some one at a restaurant in episode 1. Shin is introduced to the new idea of “Shadow Extraction” which is said to be somewhat like a drug, giving you a high feeling when you do it. Shin decides to try it out with Takuro (which has a fro, AND a Persona…interesting). The Shadow Extraction ends up summoning both of their Persona’s, they both clash, which in effect knocks out the both of them. Later, Shin, Takuro, Megumi and Kanaru go to a karaoke bar to have some fun. Both of the girls end up going to the bathroom later on, and Megumi mentions that she is very tired out of nowhere. The girls are then attacked (and almost on the verge of getting raped it seems), the thugs mention wanting to do some “Shadow Extracting” with them and that ends the episode.

Overall, things are getting more interesting now. Starting to see some small things link up to the game. Who is this red haired girl? What happened 10 years ago? Just who exactly is Ryo? By the way, it seems like Mitsuru is pictured at the end of the credits, I added a screen capture of it.
