Special A Latency 「特A潜在」

I have been looking forward to Persona -Trinity Soul- since I heard of news of its release last year, I am a big fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series of games so I was pretty excited when I heard of the release of this anime. Though, I still have not finished Persona 3 yet though, due to have a crap load of other RPGs stacked up I have not finished as well, I always manage to get like that. The first episode of Persona -Trinity Soul- seems to be pretty good, it is yet again another “crisp” anime with nice looks. Overall, I enjoyed the first episode and it was nice to see how things are starting to form, especially with the main characters awakening of his first persona. I am not sure exactly if I like how they portray Persona’s in this episode, seems a tad strange/off compared to the game, yet, it’s just the first episode, and I may be crazy.

Anyways, I don’t have much time to describe the whole episode as I am busy with college at the moment, but here is a brief summary from Wikipedia:

“Ryo Kanzato, an officer in the Ayanagi Police with the rank of Superintendent, had been dispatched to a Japanese Coast Guard PLH ship after Japanese Coast Guard crewmembers discovered that their Deep Submergence Vehicle had its entire crew missing, baffling some of them. Meanwhile, mysterious deaths had been reported throughout the city once more. Ryo had rescued Yumi Tasaka, who had been under police custody, from being killed by an unknown assailant with his Persona. Ryo’s siblings, Shin and Jun, arrive back in Ayanagi City in the course of his investigation and battle against the assailant with his own Persona. After Shin’s arrival, his Persona had awakened and killed the same assailant’s persona after it had threatened him earlier during a walk around the city. “
